Jukkapant Speaks

Coach Jukkapant Punpee has been speaking to the press ahead of Sunday’s match. Here’s what he had to say:

“Prachuap have made a good start to the season. They beat Muang Thong Utd away and were unlucky to lose to Buriram United. They are very dangerous, especially when they attack.

For me, their two foreign players are the key men in the team. We know how strong Mateus Alves is and his strike partner, Caion, is another one we’ll need to be wary of.

We spent time during the international break, working on correcting our mistakes and we believe we have improved. I’m satisfied with the progress we’ve made and with the players attitude. We will need to concentrate fully on Sunday and not allow their two front men to play.

If we can show the same determination and thirst we’ve seen during training, we have the opportunity to collect our much needed first win. At this time, three points are important and we need to get them on the board because of our league position. The spirit amongst the players is good so we have to tap into that spirit.”
